Givers and Takers. Which one are you?

In Things to Think About by Mark Sylvester

Give Or Take Keys Showing Compromise We are bombarded with messages everyday from people who want to take our time, our money and our attention. Wouldn’t it be nice to read an unsolicited email from someone in the community who genuinely wanted to help you without having their hand out at the same time?

We all need help in different areas. That’s why 805connect has a “Where I Need Help” section. Members have identified where they can use help in over 85 different areas of expertise. They have also identified how they could help others in the network. This is the power of 805connect.

Here’s your challenge for today: Check your own 805connect (http://805connect.intronetworks.com) Profile to review areas where you can offer help. Then look at pins around you to see who could use a tip or two. Pick someone who could benefit from your expertise and send them a message. Do this with no expectation of getting something in return. When you get a response, forward it to us at info@null805connect.com so we can celebrate with you.

Once you are known as a giver, on those occasions when you need to be a taker, other givers will be more responsive.
